This sterling silver crocodile pendant is detailed with intricate shell detail. This wonderful tribal pendant comes from the Sepik river area of Papua New Guinea and has a length of 55mm. Made in Australia.
These figures are hand crafted by the Papua New Guinean people out of mud or clay or are woven from natural fibres. The crocodile is often used as a creature in their creations either because they live within the Sepik River or from the belief that a crocodile created the world. This Pendant is inspired by the craftsmanship of the Papua New Guinean people.
