A beautiful natural cushion cut navy blue sapphire from the Anakie Gemfields in central Queensland. This unheated sapphire measures approximately 6.33 x 6.44 x 4.86mm, weighs 1.89 carats and has some strong natural banding.
One of the largest producers of Sapphires is Australia, and over the decades has produced more carats of sapphire than any other source.
