A lovely loose natural unheated navy blue Australian sapphire from the Anakie Gemfields in central Queensland. The sapphire measures approximately 6.26 x 6.29 x 4.06mm and weighs 1.15 carats. The sapphire has natural blue colour patches.
One of the largest producers of Sapphires is Australia, and over the decades has produced more carats of sapphire than any other source.
