A lovely lustrous South Sea Pearl measuring 10 -10.5mm round, set in an 18K yellow gold ring. There are two diamonds, one on either side of the pearl. The diamonds weigh 0.03carats and the ring size is "O" US 7. The ring weighs 5.3 grams.
Australian South Sea pearls are naturally farmed in the seawater between Broome and Darwin. The pearls are grown in the oyster called Maxima Pinctada and can take up to 5 to 7 years to grow.
