South Sea pearls are mainly grown in the seawaters of northern Australia between Broome and Darwin. The oyster Pinctada Maxima produce 10-20mm pearls with a variety of lustrous colours depending on the type of the Pinctada Maxima. The silver lipped oyster produces pearls in the white, silver ,aqua & blue family of overtones. while the gold lipped oysters pearls exude cream, champagne ,vanilla and the deeper golden tones. The natural colours of South Sea pearls are truly rich and beautiful and need no enhancement.
