18K yellow gold South Sea pearl pendant from Milne Bay in Papua New Guinea. The pearl is silver cream in colour and oval in shape and measures 15mm x 13.5mm. Length: 2.5cm. Weight: 5.5 grams. The enhancer bail is hinged so it can optionally clip over a strand of pearls or even an omega. Made in Australia. It is important not wear your pearls in the pool or and keep them away from any harsh chemicals such as perfumes, sunscreen etc to help protect their nacre, which is what gives them their beautiful lustre.
