This tourmaline is a faceted oval measuring approximately 8.82mm x 5.26mm x 4.54mm and weighing approximately 1.68 carats in total. The indicolite tourmaline is an attractive blue-green colour with a patch or pool of marine blue at the back. It has a faceted girdle and some natural fissures that come to the surface in the back facets. The natural inclusions suggests the topaz has not been heat treated. The rough gemstone has been sourced from Afghanistan.
