This faceted emerald cut tourmaline measures approximately 8.24mm x 8.19mm x 5.10mm and weighing approximately 2.95 carats in total. The tourmaline is blue green in colour and mainly clear of inclusions, apart from a fissure which comes through to the back facets in one corner suggesting it has not had heat treatment. The rough gemstone has been sourced from Afghanistan.
