Sepik Mask Pendant In Sterling Silver
The pendant its shaped as the flute mask from the Ramu River (East Sepik Province of Papua New Guinea). Flute masks were used as ornaments for sacred flutes, which were important instruments in ceremonies. The pendant follows the wooden mask designs of the area. The long nose depicts powerful spirits and the entire face is fits into the long nose.
